Help Belle Harrell Save her Family Home

A Message From Belle: “It's Rattlesnake Roundup this weekend, and here's a pic of me riding downtown Whigham after the parade at some point in the early 1980s. I've always been proud of the fact that I'm from Whigham. Whether I was living in New Zealand or Columbus, GA, I always bragged about my roots. I love being from this small town, and I love being back here and teaching in Grady County at MTF. My friends, I'm desperate here. I literally have nowhere to go with my critters. I still can't believe I'm in this situation. Some of you are probably thinking I must not be telling the truth about something because how could someone possibly get away with this, but these are the facts:
* I moved home a few years ago to take care of my dad because my mom abandoned him. Before she left here, she went to an attorney and had my elderly father sign two houses over to her. My brother also made sure deeds were signed over to him, using this same attorney. After that, my brother and mother had nothing to do with my dad (they are two peas in a pod). Just ask anybody if you need confirmation of this.
* After she left my dad, and he realized she had hoodwinked him, we went to an attorney to make sure this house was left to me, since she had already taken one home, and my brother got the property he now lives on.
* This attorney is now retired, but he completely messed up the will. Multiple lawyers have looked at it.
* My dad left my mom $100,000 in life insurance money, so she would leave his family home alone and leave me alone. She got the money, but still demands this house.
* She even refuses to sell it to me because she has somebody interested in it who has more money than I do to pay for it.
I desperately need help. Anybody willing to get in touch with my mom and ask her why she won't sell it? Any attorneys out there willing to help me come up with some creative solutions? We can appeal again, but I need someone who is going to fight for me. I've spent my whole life fighting on the behalf of others (specifically, my students), but, right now, I need someone in my corner to fight for me. In sum: is there anybody who can help me save my father's home? Please feel free to share this post. ✝️ ⚖️“

Hi,
My name is Rebekah. I am a former student of Belle’s. When I say former, I mean 1998 former! My eighth grade class was one of Belle’s first classes to teach. Boy, did she have to have patience for our class. We were loud and colorful but she prevailed. I have always held a place in my heart for Belle for undertaking middle schoolers and finding creative ways to get us engaged. I walked away knowing every historical aspect of the greatest song “American Pie” and always knowing someone was out there who cared.
If you know Belle as a teacher, you’ve witnessed someone who is uniquely passionate in their craft. If you know Belle as a friend, you’ve witness pure unselfish friendship. Belle is someone who leaves an impression on your heart the moment you meet her. Now it is our turn to uplift and hold Belle.
She is fighting so hard to keep her Family Home that has been in the Harrell Family since 1940.
After Belle's Father passed away recently, she was blindsided with a notice to vacate her home and land. Her father fully intended for the property to pass to her when he passed but the information was not recorded correctly. Now the woman who abandoned him while he was sick and whom he bought her own home for is taking advantage of the mishap and trying to remove Belle and her beloved poodles from their home for her own monetary gain.
If you have been keeping up with Belle's story, you must feel like me; Praying so hard Justice will Prevail and feeling helpless as you see someone who deserves so much love and grace in this world fighting for her father's dying wish.
Donating to the Cause to save the Harrell home will give Belle the ability to fight this injustice with the best resources she has or make the best decisions to end this nightmare. Belle wants everyone who feels compelled to help that she is willing to pay back any loans or contributions. Please consider to help Belle fight for her home as well as continue to lift her up in love and prayer.
