Hi, my name is Jackie. If you know me, then you know how much my animals mean to me. I lost my soulmate, Jinx, in May and now I’m at risk of losing Bellatrix (aka Bella aka Skitty Bean).

Over the last 6 months, I have spent over $10,000 on vet bills between Jinx, Ruby and Bella. The remainder of her chemo is estimated to be $9,000-10,000.

I hate to ask for help when I know that there are so many people struggling right now. I had ankle surgery the week after Jinx passed and had to take two months off of work. I’m struggling to make sure that Bella can get the care that she needs without drowning myself in more debt.

I’ve had Bella since she was a kitten and is turning 15 this year. The oncologist said that we caught this early enough that there’s hope for a future with Bella. Unfortunately, this cancer is incurable, but he believes that she can live at least a few more years. He said 50% of cats respond to chemo and other than this cancer, she’s healthy.

I want to do everything in my power to prolong her life, but I cannot do that without help. If you are unable to help, please share.
