Hello, my name is Shawna and I have created this gofundme to raise funds for our dog Bella. In the past couple of months Bella started to favor her back left leg so we put her on restrictions and short leashed walks hoping that if her cruciate ligament had a partial tear, it would have a chance to heal. Unfortunately, on Sunday (my mom's birthday), Bella was only able to use three legs and we knew something was definitely wrong. We were able to get her to the Vet yesterday and found out that her ACL (cruciate) has fully torn along with some cartilage. Her surgery is scheduled for March 30th. We are so sad about this as after Bella had surgery on her other leg almost 2.5 years ago, we have done everything in our power to prevent this from happening again. If you are able to donate, we would be truely grateful. No amount is too small. I will hopefully have a copy of the estimate soon. The receptionist said about $2600 with tax. Her visit yesterday was not included and I will be missing some work while she recovers as my mom cannot lift Bella at all since my mom had her back surgery.
