Help Misha and her family.
Donation protected
My name is Natalie, and this is for my granddaughter:
Misha Flowers, our precious, amazing little girl, was shockingly diagnosed with leukemia a few weeks ago after losing an alarming amount of weight, and being sick for a few weeks with what was thought to be a bad flu and pneumonia. She is 10 years old, turning 11 very soon (while in the hospital I’m afraid).
Misha is a truly special, deeply caring, funny, smart girl. She’s an impressive chef and baker, who loves to garden, sew, make amazing art, and care for her little tortoise. She’s an outstanding big sister to her little sister and brother as well, they’ve missed her badly. While her spark has been a bit dim lately, she is fighting amazingly and bravely through some very intensive chemotherapy in the hospital. Before she went in, she was terrified of even the tiniest poke, and now has faced IVs, surgeries, twice daily chemo and a host of other demands on her, and is becoming so strong. We are just as proud of her as we are sorry she has to endure the treatments.
Her parents and family are so thankful to be surrounded with love and help and prayers. We are all being carried through this hardship by faith and kindnesses. It is a one income, one vehicle family; Misha’s mom stays home to care for, and homeschool her and her younger sister and toddler brother. This crisis is, of course, upending all of their lives and there are some needs for not only medical bill funds, but also some other things to accommodate Misha’s multiple extended hospital stays, as well as changes to make the home extra clean and suited for her returns home, as she will be severely immune compromised. There will even be a month or two period when Misha will need a bone marrow transplant in Tucson and the family will need to station there a few hours from home, and do some commuting.
In light of all this, we are hoping to raise funds for needs such as a modest second vehicle, repairs or replacement for the unusable dishwasher and inadequate washing machine, food and grocery delivery charges and some child care to name a few.
Misha’s parents, Corey and Valorie, greatly appreciate any help and support. If you are not able or inclined to donate, they will be more than happy to have your prayers and well wishes!
Please join us in wishing Misha and family strength and healing and please pass on this fundraiser and prayer chain.
Thank you!
