Help Bella while she fights bone cancer

Donation protected
Imagine getting some of the worst news you can get as a parent. Your child has cancer! Those are words I never imagined hearing, then again, who does? Your daughter has cancer, and then it got worse. Your daughter has cancer and is going to need an amputation of her right leg. As you could imagine, my world was different from that moment on; everything changed that day for me, but really for her. I know the emotional weight of what I was going through, but I cannot begin to fathom what she is going through. Not long before all of this happened, Bella had posted something on her Instagram that made this diagnosis so much sadder in my opinion. She had posted a couple of pictures of her senior year, where she was student body president; some from graduation, where she had graduated in the top 25% of her class; a couple of her senior photos, where she proudly displayed her college plans; a couple from summer, where she was volunteering at church camp as a lifeguard; a couple of her hobbies, where she was skydiving and golfing; she even posted a picture of her being baptized, and she captioned these photos "I LOVE MY LIFE." & with one word “cancer” everything changed. It made this new reality feel so much harder. I worried about how she would handle this, worried about what her attitude would be, and how she would adjust. I worried about how I would be able to meet all of her needs. I was very lucky that I have not carried that burden alone, and so many people have stepped up to help in any way they can. So many people have made this difficult time feel a little less difficult. Though Bella has already conquered so many of the struggles within this journey, there are still many more to come. She has recently been cleared to begin the process of being fitted for her prosthetic, which we have known would be a large out-of-pocket expense in order to provide her a prosthetic that will help her to live life as close to her life prior to amputation. We hope to raise money towards that expense so she can live life as normally as possible. Of course, as her mother, I don’t want to see her need to sacrifice any more of her life to this terrible cancer, and so I’m asking for the kindness and generosity of others to help make this happen for her. We appreciate any way you can help with a donation, a share, or a prayer.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has helped our family in any way. Knowing that she has people standing with her, fighting with her, that is what encourages her on her hardest days, knowing that she has people praying for her and cheering her on.
