Hi Beautiful Humans! I just returned from Indonesia. I met a beautiful pup on the beach that had been living in the bushes. She was very skinny, itchy and her front left leg appeared to have been run over by a car or motorbike. I began feeding her & building a relationship with her. She is so sweet. She needed medical care, food, water & love. She has now been at the vet for a few weeks. She had her leg amputated (as it was so severely damaged). She was use to getting around on 3 legs so she has adjusted well to her tripod lifestyle. She has been spayed, received her rabies vaccine along with all of her other vaccines. She has been treated for worms, treated with flea + tick medicine & anti-fungal medicine to help her skin condition. She is always being fed very well and on a vitamin regimen for a few weeks to help with her malnutrition from being close to starving living in the bushes. She just got a microchip, a collar & a new cozy bed. My mom & I have paid for all of her medical bills up until now. She will soon be ready to leave the vet & needs her forever home. I don’t want to leave her back on the beach in the same condition i found her in & Indonesia already has SO many stray dogs. It is so sad - and the worst ever since the pandemic. I have reached out to so many people trying to find a forever home in Indonesia for her with no success. So i would love to bring Miss Bella Luna back to California- which is quite a process & expensive! She will need to stay in a doggie villa for a few months in Indonesia, where she will be fed and cared for, until she is allowed to make the trek over here. Mr Rusty Red Fox says he is willing to welcome her into our home. I am looking for financial support to make this happen. Anything is helpful & much appreciated!
