update: Bella isn’t getting any better. Today may be the day I have to say goodbye to my best friend. I appreciate everyone that donated. There are still expenses for end of life that I could use some help with. I’m heartbroken

Bella has been my loyal companion since she was just 9 weeks old, and now at 14 years old, she is truly like a child to me. She has always been full of life and energy, bringing so much joy and love into my world. Just a couple of weeks ago, she was her happy self, but now she is very ill and not herself at all. It’s heartbreaking to see her struggle, and I am doing everything I can to help her get better.

Recently, Bella has had to visit the vet three times in just a few weeks. She was treated for chronic bronchitis, and the vets found a spot in her lung. She’s now been referred to the Virginia Tech veterinary school for further evaluation. I’m also seeking a second opinion from another vet, as I feel there may be another underlying issue, such as severe arthritis or a stomach problem. The uncertainty and worry have been overwhelming, but I am determined to find answers and get Bella the care she needs.

The funds raised will go directly toward Bella’s medical care, including vet visits, blood work, x-rays, and any necessary testing. Every dollar will be used solely for her treatment and well-being.
