Bella is my golden retriever, and she’ll be turning two years old next month. She’s always been such a playful, sweet, and smart girl, bringing so much joy to my life and everyone she meets. Recently, Bella became sick with vomiting and stopped eating, which was very unlike her. I took her to the vet, and after some tests, we learned that she has extremely large growths or lymph nodes pushing on her stomach. The blood work results were concerning, showing that she could be in acute kidney failure, and her SDMA levels are elevated, which might indicate kidney lymphoma.
Right now, Bella needs more diagnostic tests to determine if we’re dealing with a treatable infection or lymphoma. The uncertainty is difficult, but I’m doing everything I can to get her the care she needs. Unfortunately, the cost of these tests and any treatment that follows is more than I can afford on my own. Bella means the world to me, and I want to give her every chance to recover and enjoy many more birthdays.
If you’re able to help, I would be deeply grateful for any support you can offer. If you can’t donate, I completely understand—just keeping Bella and my family in your thoughts and prayers means so much to us. Thank you for taking the time to read Bella’s story and for caring about her future.
