# Help Bella Fight for Her Second Chance ❤️

Two weeks ago, Bella came into our home, and from the moment she walked through the door, she has been nothing short of perfect.

Bella has the most amazing personality. She is loving, caring, gentle, and affectionate. She loves other dogs and cats, and every time she walks into a room, she seems to brighten it. In just two short weeks, she has completely captured our hearts and become part of our family.

Bella's journey started long before she found her way to us. **Before Bella ever arrived at the shelter, she suffered a broken back.** When we found her at the shelter, we learned about what she had already endured. Despite everything she had been through, Bella was still sweet, loving, and trusting.

We couldn't turn our backs on her.

We brought Bella home because we wanted to give her the safe, loving life she deserved. We wanted her to finally know what it felt like to be loved and cared for.

We never imagined that shortly after bringing her home, we would be facing another devastating challenge.

Bella was recently diagnosed with **IMHA (immune-mediated hemolytic anemia)**, a serious and potentially life-threatening condition in which her immune system attacks her own red blood cells.

Bella has not been hospitalized at this point, but she will need **ongoing veterinary treatment, frequent blood work, medications, and potentially blood transfusions** as we work to manage this disease and give her body a chance to recover.

The financial burden of ongoing treatment is something we never expected to face so soon after bringing Bella home, and we are asking for help because we don't want finances to stand between Bella and the care she needs.

After surviving a broken back before she ever reached the shelter, Bella now has to fight another battle.

And she deserves that chance.

In the short two weeks she has been with us, Bella has shown us just how special she is. She loves everyone. She loves other dogs and cats. She is affectionate, gentle, and full of personality. She has brought so much happiness into our home in such a short amount of time.
