August 16, Bella went to UF in Gainesville and met the Drs there. Nothing could be done since she is having UTI after UTI. Until that is resolved she wont have the operation she needs so much.We did get the estimation and it will be between 5K to $6,500 due to the complexity of the operation. She will also need a second Scan . We were so hopeful ! Thanks to all of you who donated. She is such a joy and deserves so much better.
August 8th Bella is now schedule for an evaluation to the University of Gainsville small animal hospital where she will be checked after her scan. Hopefully she will be operated very soon. She had an UTI this week and it will happend again if we dont do something ASAP! It is worst than thought.
July 25th was a big day for Bella. She is at Blue Pearl today!!!! Waiting to hear!! Little note from her foster Mom when she left her: I had a hard time leaving her there, when she cried for me.
Update: No luck today. Bella was scheduled to get a scan at Blue Pearl and the machine is broken. Will have to wait longer!!!!! Please share her story. She needs your help.
Today Bella went to see a specialist at Blue Pearl. Next step is a scan tomorrow and will see how she can be helped./
Meet Bella, a brave and resilient 3-year-old dog who recently came into our Rescue, desperate for help. When she arrived, she was in a heartbreaking condition, trembling with fear. Bella's journey has been filled with challenges, but we believe she deserves a chance at a happy, healthy life.
When Bella first arrived, she was covered in matted fur, feces, and urine. She suffered from severe skin infections and lacerations, requiring sedation to start her healing process. Thanks to the love and care provided by our dedicated team, Bella has made tremendous progress over the past two weeks.
As she healed from her infections, Bella's hair began to grow, revealing a sweet and playful personality. She now enjoys playing and pouncing on toys, cherishing every moment like it's her first. Bella has also shown excellent behavior while walking on a leash and has proven to be friendly towards other dogs and strangers.
Despite these positive changes, Bella faces one last hurdle on her journey to a normal life. She experiences difficulty urinating and often only partially eliminates. Additionally, she drips urine while walking and ends up in puddles when lying down. Though diapers have provided some relief, they require frequent changing to prevent infections and an unpleasant odor.
After consulting with her veterinarian and a specialist, we've learned that Bella may have ectopic ureter, a costly medical condition that requires proper diagnosis and correction. By providing Bella with the necessary medical support, we can improve her quality of life and increase her chances of finding a loving forever home.
Early estimates suggest that Bella's medical care will cost up to $10,000. This is where we need your help. Your generous support can make all the difference in Bella's life. With your donation, we can cover the expenses of her medical treatment and give her the opportunity to lead a full and happy life.
By contributing today, you become an integral part of Bella's incredible journey toward recovery and trust. Together, we can ensure that she receives the care she needs and help her find the loving forever home she truly deserves.
Please donate today and be a superhero in Bella's life. Your support will transform her story from one of hardship to one of hope and happiness. Join us in giving Bella a second chance at a normal doggie life. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
