On January 27th, our beautiful 2 year old baby girl Bella Harris was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL). We have spent the last 3 weeks in the hospital, and 2 of those were spent in the ICU. Every day has been a rollercoaster of updates and emotions, but she’s been a rockstar the entire time. She’s undergone two spinal taps, several blood transfusions, as well as having a port installed under her skin to provide chemo throughout the rest of her treatment time-frame. As of today 2/15/25, her levels are starting to show signs of improvement, and if things continue to improve, we might be able to return home in the coming days. She has a long road ahead, as treatment will continue for the next 2 and half years. During most of that time-frame, she will be considered immunocompromised, so our lifestyle will be adjusted to meet her new requirements. We ask that everyone continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. If you’d like to help out, this go-fund me account is currently the best route. We are a single income family, with two kids to support. Every penny that is provided is greatly appreciated and will go directly to getting our baby girl the treatment she deserves.
About Bella:
She enjoys rocking out in her car seat to anything fast or silly. From System of a Down, to Scatman…..it’s a weird playlist. She really loves mermaids, babies, swimming, fishing for redfish, dancing, and anything big brother is doing. Her favorite shows are Princess Sofia, Bluey, and Ariel. She’s gained popularity at the hospital as the nurses know her as the sassy/cute 2-year old who can take her own medicine (they even call other nurses into the room just to watch). At home she enjoys riding her toy car, and swinging on the playset.
Thanks for your continued support and prayers.
