Hey friends and family!
I am raising funds to compete in the National American Miss pageant this summer! Let me explain a little more...
When I was 12 years old, I stepped out of my comfort zone, (or thought I did) and competed in a pageant, called National American Miss (NAM), a pageant that is solely based on your ability to communicate with others and your unique personality. Now, 12 years later, I have received a call back to compete again, but in my new age group, at 24 years old!
When I did this pageant the first time, I was uncomfortable in my own skin, not wanting makeup, and not willing to prepare. Now that I have grown, I am hoping to truly step out of what is comfortable for me, and compete to the best of my ability, by showing my personality, and making a platform to educate on Celiac Disease in one of the optional competitions!
I am looking for $800, at minimum, to compete. Here's a breakdown of what that would cover!:
-$650 entrance fee to compete
-$40 for a NAM competition shirt
-$100 for the optional competition "Spokesmodel", where I will give a minute and a half speech educating on Celiac Disease. What it is, how it has affected my life, the difference between gluten intolerance and Celiac, and some every day items that contain gluten that you may have never suspected.
If I were able to raise more than $800, it would go towards proper shoes, my formal wear dress cost, my two interview outfits, and gas to get me too and from practices, and to the hotel the pageant will be located at in Bellevue, WA.
Anything helps! Even if you were only able to donate $5, that would be immensely helpful! As a sponsor, you and/or your business’s name will be featured beside my photo in the Washington State Yearbook, and in the National Yearbook as well for the National pageant in Orlando, Florida! Also as an added bonus, the sponsorship fee is tax-deductible for businesses as an advertising expense if you so wish!
If you would prefer to send a venmo, my username is Isabellapearsonn (it’s a picture of me in an orange sweatshirt)
I greatly appreciate your support and/or donation for this big competition! I truly want to take this opportunity to showcase my personality, and education on Celiac Disease, as it is a very important topic to me.
Thank you in advance for your consideration, and I hope to take this as far as I can, and make everyone proud! I would love to win, become the next Miss Washington of my age group, and move on to the National Pageant, but the true joy will be having this opportunity to compete, and education where I can.
Hugs, and love!!
