Help Bella Bring Heather Home

On May 27, 2025, the nursing community in Las Vegas, Nevada lost one of our own. Heather Richmond was a dedicated mother and wife and a bedside nurse of 25 years.

Heather was a kind and funny person. She loved being a mother to Bella and being a wife to her husband, Larry. Heather was also incredibly smart and compassionate; she treated her fellow nurses and every patient she took care of with respect and dignity. Heather wanted to use her knowledge and experience to educate future nurses. Heather was in the process of studying for her PhD in Nursing Education when she was diagnosed with endometrial cancer.

We, her fellow ICU nurses at Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, would like to set up this GoFundMe to get funds set up for her daughter Bella. Bella at this time would like to bring her mother back home to Wisconsin to be buried next to her family and to set up a memorial to celebrate the life of her mother.
