Bella Blue is the most joyful creature I’ve ever known; she meets everything with enthusiasm! I don’t think it’s possible to know Bella and not fall in love. She also has a mass on her right front leg that is cancerous—sarcoma.

 

She’s been my partner in everything for the past 6 1/2 years, since I rescued her. Our time together has been truly magical. Bella’s joy and enthusiasm are contagious!

 

Bella Blue is not only my best friend; she is also my service dog, though I haven’t used her for public access in a long time. I have been permanently disabled since 2006, and Bella is trained to assist with some of my health issues. I would be so lost without Bella Blue. I completely adore her, and I can’t bear the thought of anything bad happening to her, ever.

 

I’ve been unable to work since my disability and my only income is Social Security Disability, which isn’t much. I’m the poor of the poor. Thankfully, I’m able to borrow money for Bella’s vet bills with the cancer, so she doesn’t have to wait until funds are raised to get the treatment she needs to save her life. However, that money will have to be paid back, and I just don’t have the room in my budget to cover that.

 

The costs so far, between vet bills and testing and medications, is $1,300. The surgery to remove the mass will be between $4,300-$5,750. I can’t possibly manage that without your help. Even just a few dollars would be so appreciated. If everyone who sees this gives a couple of dollars, that would add up to a LOT. I’m trusting that, somehow, amongst us, we can come up with the funds. Can I also ask you to share this fundraiser? The more exposure there is, the more money will hopefully be raised.

 

I know how some of you love Bella. Many have seen for themselves what a sweet, goofy, eager girl she is. Those who don’t know her, I hope you will also feel it in your heart to help save my baby’s life.
