MAY 22, 2022 - BELLA'S BLESSINGS

PLEASE HELP & PRAY FOR MY GREAT-NIECE BELLA AS SHE IS FIGHTING THRU MENINGITIS 

This Beautiful Family is dealing with their daughter Bella’s recent illnesses and also recovering after a recent fire where they live, no one hurt in fire,  – Thank God, Brother Brandon,  The Greenlawn Firefighter heroes are amazing. Yet, lots of damage.
And all this happening within weeks of each other.  
As Bella is in the hospital, over a month now for this third stay since January 14th, her family is living temporarily in a motel, including little Brother Dylan.   It's a brutal time and I'm asking for Your support with donations and Prayers. UNTIL RECENTLY, BELLA WAS FUN, skate-boarding, a Hello Kitty loving teenager; wrestling around with her 3 brothers, Ryan “Ry-Ry”, Brandon and Dylan, a happy healthy teen, studying how to help animals. A FEW MONTHS AGO, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT BELLA HAS CHIARI MALFORMATION, a condition in which brain tissue extends into the spinal canal, pressing on the brain and forcing it downward. Her skull didn’t form fully. Until recently, we didn’t realize she had this condition. We were told that this resolves with surgery. On January 14th, 2022, Bella had surgery to relieve this issue. Bella did well, even surprised the staff by walking a little after surgery, but still mostly resting.

 

Sadly, the pain and swelling, pressure and brutal headaches didn’t resolve, only worse. After a few more hospital trips, it’s been discovered SHE HAS NOW BEEN INFECTED WITH MENINGITIS. I’m writing this on Feb 14th and this afternoon, Bella is having yet another spinal tap, as her medical team is trying to understand the scope of her medical situation. Her mother Dana Rosati continues to be with Bella around the clock, as Bella barely moves around, lies with her eyes covered, just too much pain & pressure. Sometimes her oldest brother Ry-Ry (the only 2 allowed) takes a shift, but mostly Dana.

Please, please pray for Isabella’s restored well-being in body, heart, mind and Spirit. Please pray for the LIJ Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center Team that they are divinely guided & blessed; Child Life Specialists and all the staff are now all Bella Fans -she’s won their hearts – she’s an amazing WARRIOR OF COURAGE!

 

More misfortune, on Jan 22, 2022, THERE WAS A FIRE AT THE HOME where they are living, in Huntington, NY. THANKFULLY, no one was hurt due to the swift heroics of older brother Brandon and the heroes of the Greenlawn Fire Dept, the roaring fire was able to be contained. However, FD has declared considerable damage with structural / roof damage; TERRIBLE SMOKE damage; most everything needs replacing, the home may not be habitable for 6 months. In many ways, it’s like starting over.

This family has been so traumatized and gratefully had received some short-term support from Red Cross. Dana’s sister Danielle & James Bussa help out when they can, now taking care of the pets. For now, the Family resides in motel, nothing fancy, this is all temporary. By the way, Bella happened to be back in the hospital on the day of the fire, talk about God’s Grace.

Like so many, this family was already struggling. Her mother Dana has had medical conditions and just was starting to do a little better. Dana’s fiancée Ryan has started an automotive repair, a new, fledgling business and has to work another job as well, and tend to family, since Mom is at hospital around the clock. No matter, their home had been a place of love and such joy.

The love & faith are still here, but it is just too much, they need your help. Red Cross helped with quick, short term support, Grandparents: George & Patty Rosati and Denise & James Stark, Sis Desiree Stark, had Facebook campaigns that raised about $2800. This family will need more as they rebuild, deal with medical bills, and provide care plus a clean safe environment for Bella and her brothers to live.

 

I am asking for your FINANCIAL SUPPORT & PRAYERS. Right now, money donations are needed from individuals, just like you, and also businesses. This will be on-going, at this time the goal of $8,000.

- BELLA IS HAVING BETTER DAYS AND MAY BE COMING HOME BY ST. PATTY’S DAY.     
BELLA WILL BE DEALING WITH SOME ON-GOING MEDICAL ISSUES AND COMPLICATIONS,    HOPING FOR HER COMPLETE RESTORED WELL-BEING, ON-GOING COURAGE ~ STRENGHT AND FAITH.
