Here is their story below:

After two years of trying to get pregnant, Bella and Matt were diagnosed with PCOS and unexplained infertility. They turned to fertility treatments to try for their baby, and after 3 failed attempts at IUI, they decided to move on to IVF.

Their first cycle was in 2018 and they were successful on the first embryo transfer! They had a healthy pregnancy for 23 weeks and all looked amazing...

Tragically, however, at 23 weeks, 5 days Bella went into preterm labor and their sweet Adeline was born on March 30th, 2018 weighing just 1lb 9oz.

Sweet Adeline lived for two whole weeks in the NICU. After many tests and treatments, it was determined that the sweet girl had suffered from severe brain trauma. She was given less than 5% chance of ever leaving the NICU...

It was with great sorrow and heartache that Bella and Matt surrendered their sweet Adeline to God and she passed peacefully in their arms on April 13th, 2018.

Our dear friends trudged through the next couple of years, their sweet Adeline forever in their hearts. As if surviving her loss wasn’t enough, they have since suffered 3 miscarriages with their remaining embryos...

Bella and Matt have suffered great tragedy and heartache... it is our hope that with this money, they will be able to move forward in their journey to having their baby via IVF with genetic testing, which will greatly improve their chances of success!
