Hello, my name is Belkys Gilford, and I’ve been blessed with 16 wonderful years of marriage to my husband, Ryan. We are raising two incredible boys, ages 16 and 14, both honor roll students and athletes at San Clemente High School. They are excelling in wrestling and football and growing into kind and hardworking young men, something we are incredibly proud of.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). TNBC is a particularly aggressive form of cancer that requires intensive chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. It has been a devastating blow to our family, but we are determined to fight.

Despite both Ryan and I working full-time, the rising cost of living and medical expenses have made this diagnosis even more challenging. With the cost of chemotherapy, surgery, and the extensive follow-up care I will need, we are struggling to make ends meet.

But beyond the financial strain, we are battling emotionally as a family. Our boys are doing everything they can to stay focused on school and sports, but the fear and uncertainty weigh heavily on them. As parents, it's incredibly difficult to stay strong when you know your kids are watching and worrying.

We are humbly asking for your support during this overwhelming time. Every donation will go directly toward my medical treatments, including chemotherapy, surgery, medications, and the time both Ryan and I will need to take off from work to focus on my recovery. We are doing our best to maintain a sense of normalcy for our boys, but we cannot do this alone.
