Hello. My name is Belinda. I am a 36 year old mom of 3 kids. I am also engaged to a wonderful man. To tell you a bit about our story, August 2023 our world came crashing down when I was diagnosed with cancer, Leukemia. Two big words. Acute promyelocytic leukemia to be exact. Well I fought and we struggled through it. I got my clean bone marrow biopsy in April 2024. I still had to do maintenance chemo to keep the cancer gone but it was gone. Well we went about our lives with check inside with my oncologist. I did all the things I was supposed to. Then in October our world came crashing down again. The cancer was back. So here I am fighting cancer again. Financially this has been a bigger struggle. I have to come back and stay in the city at Hope Lodge to get treatments at the cancer center. This is where I have to ask for help. All I am asking for is enough to survive for the month. With things that are easy to cook and eat and drink because these treatments take it out of me.
