Help Belinda Breathe Freely Again!

Dear family, friends, and kind-hearted supporters,
We are writing to you today with a deep sense of urgency and hope — to ask for your help in saving the life of an extraordinary young woman who has spent her own life caring for others: Belinda Reed.
Belinda is one of those rare people who quietly makes the world better just by being in it. Naturally shy yet strong in her convictions, she shines in the way that truly matters — with a heart full of compassion, a deep sense of responsibility, and hands that are always busy making life easier for the people around her. Whether she is creating beautiful crafts or comforting someone in need, she gives everything she has, often putting herself last.
Now, Belinda needs us to care for her — because she is facing the fight of her life.
On July 1, 2023, she was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis, a serious lung disease, that has severely limited her ability to breathe. Day-to-day tasks are far more challenging than she lets on – because she doesn’t want us to worry. Her condition has progressed to the point that she urgently needs a double lung transplant.
This is her lifeline — but it comes at a staggering cost.
Even with insurance, the expenses surrounding a transplant are immense. The surgery itself, extended hospital stays, lifelong medications to prevent organ rejection, and the need to temporarily relocate closer to a transplant center are all part of a long and costly road ahead. She has worked for the Department of Corrections for 10 years. Now, Belinda must step away from the work and daily activities she loves, adding financial pressure to an already overwhelming situation.
That is why we are asking for your help.
No one should go through this alone — especially someone who has given so much of herself to others. Because we love her, we will not allow it. Your donation, no matter the size, will help cover the medical and living expenses needed to get Belinda through surgery and recovery. More than that, it will allow her to do what she’s always done best: live fully and love generously.
Here is how your support will help:
• Cover life-saving transplant surgery and hospital costs.
• Provide for anti-rejection medications and follow-up care.
• Assist with temporary relocation and recovery costs.
• Relieve financial stress so Belinda can focus on healing.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page with others. Every prayer, every message of encouragement, and every share brings us one step closer to giving Belinda the second chance at life she so deeply deserves.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting Belinda as she fights for her future — one breath at a time.
