Help Belena and Rizzo Find a Safe Home

Our beloved Belena has been living in the southwest for the past eight months and has just lost her housing. It has been over 100 degrees where she lives and all the electricity in her house went out. The house needs to be completely rewired, and rather than make the house livable for the tenants, the landlords have selfishly decided to sell it. This has left Belena and her amazing dog Rizzo without a home in 110 degree weather. Belena and Rizzo have been navigating unstable housing for years, and they need and deserve a place that is safe and stable. Belena does not have a steady income at the moment, so this gfm will support her search for new housing, and future rent. Any donation will help Belena get one step closer to secure housing and safety. Belena is a brown trans woman and it has only become harder to navigate the discriminatory housing market. Despite this she still consistently shows up for her community, is a loyal and steadfast friend that makes us all laugh in the worst of times, and takes the best care of her dog.
