Help Beks pay for her knee surgery

Hi everyone, my dear friend and coworker at Café Cà Phê, Beks Leininger injured her knee while climbing, one of her favorite things to do. Without health insurance, Beks has had to wait several weeks to get an MRI to figure out what was wrong with her knee, all while worrying about the costs of getting medical care. Her medical bills have already hit $2,000, and this is before surgery or anything else included. During this wait, Beks has not been able to work her other job as a climbing route setter or her job as a contractor, and she also lost a job she was about to start due to her injury. After finally getting the MRI, Beks was told that she has a complete tear of her ACL, a torn lateral meniscus and a torn medial meniscus. She is going to need surgery to repair the tears, but is still waiting to learn how much this will cost. I’m asking for your help on behalf of my friend Beks. She will likely be unable to work during her recovery, and will unfortunately have a mountain of medical bills due to not having health insurance.
