Help Beks get to Austin Texas for SXSW 2023.

Hi, I'm Beks. For nearly a decade I have produced, released, and performed my original music and dedicated my life to the art of writing the perfect song. I have done this without sleep, without financial resources, and as an independent self-managed artist. I have been going at it alone for so long, and why? Because I cannot live without music and I believe this is my purpose.

I have the chance to debut my work in America at the biggest showcase on the planet: SXSW in Austin, Texas. This year my application to perform to the biggest music industry contacts in the world was accepted and NOW is my chance to not only show the world my capabilities as an artist but also to lay the groundwork for finding a team to elevate and support the growth of my queer dance pop.

Independently I have achieved so much but the hardest thing for me is to ask for help. If you can help in any way to contribute to turning this opportunity into a reality it would literally change my life. I have gained media acclaim from NME Australia, Purple Sneakers, Rolling Stone, and Spotify editorial support on NMF Germany, Switzerland, Asia & Australia. I have consistently charted on iTunes and peaked at #3 on the global iTunes Dance Charts with Devoted. I achieved two consecutive

Australian ad campaigns for Channel 7’s Home and Away with The Thing About Us and Devoted. I've supported the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Vera Blue, and Courtney Act. Appeared on IKEA Concert Roulette, Suncorp Stadium, Mardi Gras, Big Gay Day, and Pride Festival, and had a role & performance in Young Rock Season 2 which has just aired on HBO.

In May 2022, I traveled to Berlin to collaborate and write music with a strong focus on dance music, attending the Guesstimate camp in Berlin and the DPOP KPOP camp in Denmark. I also released my pride single ‘All The Good Boys Are Gay’ with European dance duo Paradigm (4.5 million monthly listeners) and gained radio support in Canada, Australia, Germany, Finland, Denmark, and Hungary. I've been active on TikTok sharing my journey as an independent artist scouring the world for the best music and growing exponentially in months. I am now preparing for her American debut having been invited as an official showcasing artist at SXSW in Austin, Texas in March 2023.
