On behalf of my dear friend Andrea Pedro and her family, I am creating this GoFundMe to support them during an incredibly painful and uncertain time.

On Thursday, February 5th at around 7:30 a.m., Andrea was taken by ICE. Despite having a valid work permit, she was detained and is currently being held in East Montana in El Paso, Texas. This has been devastating for her family and everyone who knows and loves her.

We truly believed and prayed that she would be home by now. Unfortunately, that has not been the case, and we still do not know when she will be released. The uncertainty has made this situation even more difficult emotionally and financially.

We are working urgently to secure attorneys to fight for her release, but the legal fees and related expenses are overwhelming. The funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward attorney fees, legal costs, and any other expenses needed to help bring Andrea home.

Her parents are currently unable to work due to the emotional and financial strain this situation has placed on them here in Minnesota. Every day without Andrea has been heartbreaking for them.

Andrea is also related to Sebastian and Gaspar, whom many of you may remember from a previous GoFundMe we shared. Once again, this family is facing unimaginable hardship, and they need our support now more than ever.
