Help Bee Chase her Dreams in Art & Psych at UMass this July!

Hi! My daughter, Maddie, AKA "Bee", has found an amazing opportunity, applied and was accepted into the Pre-Academic Program at UMass in Amherst, Massachusetts! The program is an Art Portfolio program. While it does provide college credits, as her mother, I'm most thrilled about this girl going after her passion. She has been motivated by art since a very young age along with psychology and plans to utilize both as she pursues her goals to help others. She strives to ultimately become a school counselor in the future. Not many know details, but the last couple years have a been a challenge particularly and she's been so courageous. Unfortunately, this opportunity does not fit into this Mama's budget. That is often a chosen roadblock for our decisions, however, this time, I'm inspired, just as she is, and I want to support her in chasing this passion and opportunity. I think she will thrive, and it will be so great for her! I am personally, not one that typically asks for financial help, however, in this case, humility is needed, and I am asking others to support her if they feel they are able and lead to. We appreciate it so much!

(For companies, we may create a fun T-Shirt she can sport around. We'll see if we get enough bites that would warrant that! Lastly, we did apply for a scholarship and will adjust the goal if she is awarded. Currently, the goal includes her tuition, room & board, plus $600 for flights for both her and myself. The payment due to the university is due by end of May. THANK YOU AGAIN!!)
