Hello, we are three independent TNR-certified cat rescuers in Bed-Stuy! We recently discovered a mama and her six kittens living at an abandoned lot down the street from us. After a weekend-long trapping project, we secured all seven cats. Mama cat has already been spayed and released. The six kittens are within the socialization window and we split them into two groups of three to give them more one-on-one human time. While they haven't exactly warmed up to us yet and are still quite spicy, they are gladly eating the food we give them! All kittens appear healthy and will be able to get adopted out to loving homes once they are de-spiced.

Since we work independently of a rescue organization, we have been funding this project on our own. That's where you come in! While we took mama cat to a low-cost clinic, the total with transport was still around $300. We also have supply costs, including food, litter, dewormer, flea and tick medication, cleaning products, etc.
