Help Becy Treat Her Cancer

My name is Deirdre, and I’m here to help my Dad get his message out.

A couple years ago, my Dad, Sidney, fell in love with a wonderful lady from Honduras named Becy. All has been well, until recently. Dad decided it was time for them to take care of some health issues that have been bothersome for them and he asked her, “what bother’s you?”

Becy revealed a nodule behind her right ear (see the video).

Apparently, Becy has had this thing for 20+ years. She didn’t think much of it because it arose shortly after she had the same side of her face, stitched together after a serious car accident.

It’s made appearances periodically throughout the last 20 years—sometimes it was a small hard knot, other times, little more than a slight discoloration.

On top of that, she also has been feeling good. Energy levels are tip top.

Anyway…Dad was shocked to learn of this thing and insisted that she go to the doctor ASAP.

The results have come back positive for cancer. 4 draws from the nodule, and a separate blood draw have confirmed it.

After speaking to a doctor about their options, they’ve learned that going the public system route isn’t going to be effective; it’s set up to test you till you’re drained.

Private sector is MUCH more efficient, but will be entirely out of pocket. Initial quotes top out at $7000.

The recommended treatment is going to include:

A CAT Scan to confirm how far the cancer has spread…

Surgery to remove the nodule behind her ear…

Follow up visits and status monitoring…

Chemotherapy…

We’d like to be ready with the funds ASAP so we can schedule the operation as soon as the CAT scan comes back and confirms how far the cancer has spread.

This will help them cover their medical expenses while they live off the meager Social Security money my dad receives from retirement…the weight of worry that it will lift off Dad’s shoulders will be immense.
