Last year, our family lost my dad after his battle with leukemia, and since then my mom’s world has completely changed. Along with the heartbreak of losing her husband, she has been carrying the weight of trying to keep everything together financially and emotionally for our family. Sadly, my dad did not have life insurance, which made everything even harder financially after his passing.

My mom has always been the kind of person who puts everyone else before herself. Growing up, she always made sure we were taken care of no matter how hard things got. She continues to show up for all of us even while grieving one of the biggest losses imaginable.

Over the past year, the financial strain has become overwhelming. Between bills, everyday expenses, and trying to recover after losing my dad’s income, she recently lost her home to foreclosure and is now trying to rebuild from the ground up.

I’m creating this GoFundMe because she deserves support during a time when everything feels uncertain. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help her with housing, bills, basic necessities, and getting back on her feet.
