Help Becky pay for medical expenses

Hello. My name is Amber. I have a dear friend, Becky, who is in financial need. Due to unexpected medical emergencies, she is on 8 weeks of unpaid medical leave.

Becky is a wife and proud mom to her daughter, Lauren. She leads an abundant life of hard work and servant leadership, helping others be the best version of themselves.

Becky is a High School Science teacher, Founder & Fitness Trainer for SoulFitClub, Ambassador for My Daily Choice direct sales company, and Director of the Shiras Planetarium.

Last year, Becky took it upon herself to use the 3D laser printer to create and donate plastic face shields for healthcare workers. She made 2,500 face shields on her own, and her entire group did just over 6,000! In a great time of need, Becky came to the rescue.

Becky's contribution to the Shiras Planetarium is another great accomplishment. Despite many challenges, they were able to add lasers to help fundraise. The Shiras Institute is currently their largest external funding. Her dream is to have a fully functioning dome through upgraded seating and projection. The Shiras Planetarium laser shows are incredible. Unfortunately, due to COVID and Becky's injury, the Planetarium is currently closed.

If you know Becky, you know she is a strong motivator and dedicated to helping others lose weight and feel good about themselves. Leave it to Becky to find the silver lining in every situation.

Becky gives everyone a piece of her heart. But in times of need, Becky needs a little help herself. It has been a rough year for her.

8 months ago, Becky had surgery to repair a severed rotator cuff. It was a long road to recovery.

On Sept. 5, her beloved stepfather passed away.

Then on September 11th, Becky was on a walk when her dog got spooked and knocked her off her feet- rendering her to face-plant to the ground. This caused whiplash, lots of pain, resulting in a ruptured disc in her neck.

Two days ago, Becky underwent a spinal fusion to repair the ruptured disk. She is recovering at home but has to be off work for another 8 weeks. Unfortunately, Becky does not have any more sick time.

With everything she is and has gone through, she still inspires others with her strength and positivity. <3
