Help Becky destroy cancer!

Becky Ward is a strong woman, mom, partner, sister, friend, daughter, teacher, etc. She is an Okie, OBXer and St. John resident. Maybe she has served you a cold beer at the Quiet Mon, or fed you an affordable meal at the Tamarind. Your kids might call her Miss Becky, she might have even potty trained your babies. She takes pride in helping our kids grow in the community and at Gifft Hill. You’ve texted her late and crashed on her couch, she’s watched your kid overnight on a moments notice, you’ve sat at her table and had a meal. You know Becky, Beck Star, Becks and she needs our help now.

Recently a mass was found pushing on her brain. Fortunately in a matter of 3 days she was in Virginia and the mass was removed. She is staying with her sister and has great family support, but this will take time as we found out it is Melanoma. Her treatment and recovery will be expensive.

As a family we are asking you to consider Becky, Patrick, Jack, and Hazel. Think of a Ward or Rooney you know. Help us lighten the load on a family that has done so much for others. Let’s get her the treatment she needs and get her home.
