Help Becky Caswell Stabilize After Tragic Loss

Greetings,

I am writing on behalf of Becky Caswell’s dearest friends and family members. Becky is known to be a shining light of joy and a safe place to turn when we’ve needed counsel or help of any kind. She has always been a good friend and an excellent mom. We have created this GoFundMe to show up and support her during this difficult time. After many years of depression, Trent died by suicide on April 24th, 2025. Trent was the primary provider for their family. Maryland does not offer paid time off for their workers. Thus, there are many bills and unforeseen expenses adding up amongst the shock and grief. This account is set up to lessen the financial burdens while the estate is getting resolved.

PHASE 1: IMMEDIATE NEEDS

Month 1-3

Stabilize housing (mortgage, utilities)

Counseling (3 kids and 1 adult)

Groceries (because we all gotta eat)

PHASE 2: MIDTERM FAMILY SUPPORT

Month 3-6

Continued counseling (x4)

Childcare and educational programs (x3)

PHASE 3: LONGTERM STABILITY

Let’s set her up with a nest egg to help cushion any unforeseen issues in the near to distant future.

It has taken a lot of bravery and vulnerability for Becky to allow us to set this up. She would like us to let you know there is no expectation of donations.
