Becky is 29 years old and was first diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy in 2008. In other words, she's got a REALLY big heart. Her life changed since then as well as her family's life. From doctor's appointments, hospital stays, medication changes and everyday living changes she never ever let it get her down. You ask how are you feeling Becky ..."Good, and then always follow's it with how are you? Are you ok?" she is the true example of strength!
Becky is the most amazing person I know and everyone that meets her absolutely loves her. Her heart of gold makes so many fall in love with her! She has the personality and love in her heart that I wish more people had in this world. Never upset or down and always goes with the flow that's our Becky!
Last week Becky was transferred to the Medical University of South Carolina which is about 2 hours from home. They are running tests; bloodwork and she has upcoming procedures to determine the next steps to help her heart and hopefully give her a better quality of life. Becky's heart is tired and it is now becoming draining on her to live a normal life. The little things that used to bring beautiful Becky joy have now become a struggle. Jayne is with her every day and Freddie is making trips back and forth to see her as well. Until they get more answers and find out next steps it's just a waiting game . Between medical bills, traveling expenses and other expenses things will begin to add up quick. I hope that everyone can open their heart and help Becky.
