Hi everyone, my name is Laura Vohlken and I decided to try a GoFundMe after seeing it work for so many people. Here's the deal. My beautiful mama, Becky (she is the one in the middle of the family picture) has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and sadly we have learned that it has spread to her brain. She has had 10 rounds of radiation on her brain to help shrink the tumors. She is currently bravely undergoing chemotherapy and immune therapy.

As one can imagine, this has been extremely difficult for my mother, Becky.. as well as her husband, Ted Hunsell, of 46 years and all of their children, grandchildren and extended family. Becky cannot be left home alone as we are scared she might fall again.. so my father (her husband) Ted has had to take time off of work in order to be there with her when no one else is available.

My family is hurting both emotionally and financially. We need money for gas to get back and forth from all of my mother's appointments, food money, money for household items, BILL money, they have pets to care for, upkeep on vehicles, medical bills, and many other various necessities.

If you feel moved to donate we would be so grateful. It would really help my family. My mother is also looking for another person who has maybe been in her shoes as well that she could talk to so that she doesn't feel as alone. So if anyone feels they could relate to Becky that would be great, please let us know.
