Two years ago, I suffered a stroke that changed my life. Since then, I’ve been unable to work and now rely on a fixed income to get by. It’s been a difficult journey, and lately, things have become even more challenging. I’ve fallen behind on my real estate taxes, and if I don’t raise enough by the end of July, my home will be auctioned off. I’ve talked to the County Real Estate office and they were no help. Either pay or your house will get put on auction. The thought of losing the place I’ve called home for so many years is overwhelming, and I’m reaching out for help because I simply can’t do this alone.
