Hello!

My name is Marci and I started this fundraiser to help out my dear friend Beckah Kinker with veterinarian bills for her treasured horse Sampson. Sampson is Beckah's baby, her confident and her mental health provider all wrapped up in a warm, furry package. He has been with her as she waged her own health battles, dealing with the repercussions of her own battles with cancer and more. Trying to save his life is the least she can do for him now.

Sampson is a very big, handsome thoroughbred horse who is the love of Beckah's life. She rescued him from a desperate situation and rehabilitated him herself. Unfortunately, he fell ill recently with a liver infection which has been tremendously expensive to treat. His health is trending in the right direction, but it's going to take time and a lot more vet care for him to make a full recovery.

I have known Beckah since she was 10 years old, over 50 years. We met at the stables as children and we've stayed friends all these years. She's a one in a million, super resilient, self sufficient woman, who didn't want to ask for help. I decided to start this gofundme because I knew she would not do it on her own!
