Life Just Changed Overnight
Hi, my name is Becci. I'm a newly single mom of two amazing young boys, navigating a very sudden and emotional separation after my partner and I filed for divorce this week. I've spent the last year working part time while managing children as my partner worked overseas to support our family. Now, I’m on my own, without a car, searching for stable housing, and doing my best to keep my boys safe, loved, and cared for.
Why I Need Your Help
I’m asking for help to get us back on our feet. Funds raised will go toward:
- Reliable transportation so I can get to work and care for my children
- First/last month’s rent and deposit on a safe home - housing seems nearly impossible since I don't have verifiable income that would meet the needs to apply most places and all the housing assistance programs are no longer accepting applications - housing outlook seems bleak
- Groceries, utilities, and basic household needs
I’ve already increased my work hours, but I also need to be present for my boys, who are adjusting to so much change.
