Hi fellow humans,
On Thursday February 20th on a trip to the ER for lower flank pain, my mom, Anna, was diagnosed with advanced ovarian and endometrial cancer that had metastasized to her lungs and spine. On Friday February 21st we brought her home for hospice. Late last night, Monday, February 24th, after a painful and distressing decline, she succumbed to her disease.
The link to her Obituary is below:
Her wishes were to be cremated. The cost for her cremation without any memorial or service is 4 times the cost of a simple cremation when my father died on March 26, 2016. We reach out to you in hopes that you can help us to cover the cost. She will be cremated on Wednesday, March 5.
Any amount will help tremendously.
My mother was the biggest supporter of me, her only child, and my animal rescue work, and always contributed most of her limited income to me when I was in need, which was often, and the animals, always. She always had a five dollar bill on hand for every homeless person on a street corner. She had a difficult life filled with emotional and physical pain and we are so grateful, even in grief, that she has completed her metamorpheses into a beautiful precious butterfly.
With gratitude and appreciation,
Becca Pearson,
and my husband Shaun, who showed tremendous patience, strength, kindness, and care to me and my mother on this challenging journey
