Help Becca kick Metastatic Colorectal Cancer’s butt.

Cancer is never fair and it does not show any mercy. But when you’re only 30 years old and given a diagnosis of Metastatic Colorectal Cancer it’s really hard to understand. When you have been taking care of elderly patients and patients with disabilities since you were 16 years old you learn the importance of compassion. You learn to comfort others and how to be strong. But how do you learn to accept something as horrible as cancer? One week ago my daughter’s life changed in a way no one ever expected. From being told she has a “non-mass” growth to the liver that they did not suspect was cancer to also having a mass to the colon and with that the diagnosis of metastasis was confirmed today. As her mother I feel hopeless to help my baby girl. This is something I can not protect her against or kiss away. I know God has a plan but I don’t want this to be part of it. All I can hope to do is to take away any worries she has outside of her illness. From taking care of her beautiful baby girl to holding her hand and giving a hopeful smile and hug. I am hoping our friends and family will help me lessen her stress by helping her with some financial burdens while she fights the biggest battle of her life. Even if you can not donate any money I am asking you give a prayer.
