Help Becca Gain Independence with a Service Dog

Fundraising for my service dog was started in 2024 to ensure we had a portion of the funding in place prior to training. I am currently in the hospital, and plan to meet with the trainer very soon to discuss next steps. Thank you for sharing my story and gofundme! Hi, I'm Becca. I am 19 yrs old and I have POTS, EDS, and MCAS, which have impacted my life since I was 8 yrs old.

I created this fundraiser not for sympathy, but to ask others to consider helping me raise money for a service dog. I have identified a trainer and have saved this past year for a service dog. My parents are also helping with the service dog expenses.

Training could start as early as March or April 2025 and, while I have some funds, a service dog can cost $15,000 - $50,000, depending on the time it takes for training. Each dog is different.

My goal is to gain independence so I can drive and do things I enjoy when I feel better, with peace of mind knowing my dog will call for help or assist me when needed.
