I’m hoping our community can start rallying around for my sister Becca Dawn, whose life was suddenly turned upside down. She was simply taking her dogs for a walk when she was threatened with being shot at, resulting in both her knees being injured. Her physical recovery is going to be extensive, and she is temporarily unable to work. She is the sole provider for herself, her daughter in high school, and her mother who is disabled. She is now physically unable to provide and it’s killing her inside, as she has always been the strong, reliable provider. We started this Go-Fund me in hopes to help with her urgent bills that are due and basic living expenses as she cannot work to provide right now. I hope we can rally around and help support so she can focus on healing and getting back on her feet. Any support you can offer will provide immense relief and is deeply appreciated during this difficult time. The emotional toll has been just as severe as the physical one for my sister. Following this incident with my sister she also found out tragically that another couple was actually shot at (mercifully, no one was hurt) in the same area during their own personal walk, highlighting the random and dangerous nature of this act.
