Hi, my name is Shelly and my best friend Becca is currently in the hospital suffering from debilitating seizures. Becca and her fiancé, Quami, are some of the hardest-working people I know.

They are set to get married on September 13th, 2025, and because of this, Becca works 2, sometimes 3 jobs, to pay for everyday things and the wedding.

Unfortunately, yesterday (6/20/25), she started having several seizures at work and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. She is currently still in the hospital and still having several seizures (including several that have been over 10 and 20 minutes each). She has to be seizure-free for 24 hours before they will release her, and at this time, we aren’t sure when that will be. Not including the restrictions and/or time she will be off work. She’s the type that hates to ask for help, but she is going to need it, and as her best friend, I can’t give her all the help she will need and deserves. So, I am making this to help with any medical bills, lack of income for her and Quami, or any needs she may need to cover during this time.

UPDATE:

Becca has been released from the hospital as of 1pm (6/23/25) and as of right now she is having to take 1 week off, to see her dr in one week, and to go back to the hospital if she has anymore seizures over 2 minutes long. This is going to be a big financial hit for them. She is staying positive, but is still scared. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts. Thank you so much!
