This is my friend Bec. She’s beautiful inside and out, but when she smiles this is what people see. Bec is a survivor of domestic violence. She is a single mum of four - two grown daughters and two teenagers. Most days she sells the Big Issue magazine at Newtown Station to support her family, but sales are down. She often doesn’t have enough money to live on. Her biggest wish is to get a better, more secure job, but without dental work that seems impossible. Public dental treatment will not be available any time soon. Please help us raise the cost of restoring Bec’s smile. If just one hundred people donated $100, she’d be able to start the New Year with renewed hope of a better life!
