Help Beaux Receive Emergency Surgery!

Hi, my name is Chanell and I am starting this Go Fund Me for my best friend Ashley and Ace’s baby Beaux!

 

Beaux is an 8 year old pitt mix from Tijuana adopted by his parents, Ashley and Ace, when he was just 12 weeks old. Since then, Beaux has spent his life embracing all the love and playtime life has to offer. All he loves to do is slobber everyone with his kisses, cuddle, and knock everything over with his tail wagging from excitement at 25mph (I’ve experienced it first hand whenever I'm over).

 

Unexpectedly, Beaux's mom found a lump behind his ear last month, and his doctor told them that it is a Mast Cell Tumor, an aggressive tumor that can quickly spread to other parts of his body if not removed. With these tumors, they recommend wide lateral surgical margins where they remove 3cm around and 1cm deep. His doctor did not feel comfortable doing the procedure because of its location, but recommended a few specialized surgeons for Beaux to see, with two they have consulted with so far. Both surgeons said they are willing to remove the full margin, but with the cost of his ear, which also poses other risks and complications. They also gave them the option to remove right around the tumor, which increases the risk of the tumor reappearing around his ear or in another part of his body.

 

Unfortunately, the estimated cost for his procedure is $4,694.41, given that no complications arise. This is going to be a long journey but if there’s any dog I know who could win this fight, it’s Beaux. It’s so obvious how much zest he has for life, with the most contagious smile and spirit. His parents would do anything for him, but I know they could use some help. If anyone has the means to contribute to his surgery to get him the care he deserves so that he can live out the best years to come, or even share this link, they would be more than appreciative.
