Help Beautify Roswell Through Art!

Enhance Roswell's Historic Downtown by funding a beautiful mural painted by ATL artist Christina Kwan over a boring traffic light junction box!

My name is Ryan Pernice, and I'm the owner of Table & Main restaurant on Canton Street in Roswell. Table & Main has been a longtime supporter of local art. We've partnered with the Roswell Arts Fund for this project, which was recently approved by Mayor & Council.

Table & Main already fronted the deposit money and signed the agreement with the artist. The rest of the funds will go towards the artist's fee, her time to clean and prime the object, materials, and painting the installation. That's the fun part! Christina will transform a regular steel junction box into a beautiful entrance marker at the North end of our downtown district.

Volunteers are needed to help clean and prime the work! It should take a couple of hours, and can be scheduled according to volunteer availability. If you're interested, please get in touch with Ryan.

The junction box is located at the NE corner of Canton Street and Woodstock. We included sample photos that Christina presented to guide her work. "The four-sided traffic box mural will act like a bouquet, an offering of beauty and a signal of growth. The flowers featured will include magnolias, coneflower echinacea, and yellow azaleas. Though the forms will be floral, the 'bouquet' will also incorporate more abstract paint strokes that echo the shapes of the various petals. We all grow through seasons of change, and this box will represent the bloom of a new star." See more of Christina's work through her Instagram:

THANK YOU to the Roswell Arts Fund and Mayor & Council for making this happen! And THANK YOU to all who donate! We'll share progress photos on Table & Main's Instagram: @tableandmain
