Help beautiful Liz to raise funds for her cancer treatment
Donation protected
The beautiful Eagleton family simply cannot catch a break so I have decided (with their permission) to share some of Liz’s health updates and give an idea of what her treatment path looks like moving forward.
Unfortunately Liz's cancer continues to significantly progress despite ongoing treatment of various chemotherapy's, blockers and radiation therapy.
Liz has just received the devastating news that her cancer is now in both chest walls, two places in her pelvis, her breast and the base of the pleural lining.
There is emerging research suggesting that immunotherapy could have an effect on her type of cancer. Unfortunately because it is so rare it is not covered by the government, nor will it likely be anytime soon. Liz and James are now faced with paying $60,000 to receive this treatment plus the ongoing fees of oncologists and various medications which have burdened them for almost 5 years now.
Liz's background story is below;
In 2020 Liz and James's world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with primary angiosarcoma of the breast. It is an incredibly rare cancer and very hard to navigate, particularly given the lack of research. Liz was treated with an aggressive mastectomy followed by chemotherapy (while pregnant and with a 1 1/2 year old ) and 6 weeks of radiation just over a week after delivering her baby.
In 2022 unfortunately Liz's cancer returned in the left rib cage. The next few years have been a blur of continual recurrences (chest, pelvis, spine, and left breast) along with almost constant treatments of chemotherapy, radiation or life saving surgery.
Just a few weeks ago to start off their 2025, while on a family holiday, Liz was rushed to hospital with extreme chest pain. After being transferred to a local hospital and suffering a seizure, it was discovered that she had 2.5L of blood leaking into her lungs. This resulted in a drastic surgery to remove a large chunk of her ribs, a golf ball sized tumour and 3x blood transfusions. Not to mention her recovery from such a traumatic surgery with young children at home (which she is still recovering from).
Liz and her beautiful family have suffered relentlessly over the years and they continue to keep pushing. Please share this far and wide so we can help Liz to get the cancer treatment she desperately needs and truly deserves. Every donation helps no matter how big or small.
Thank you! Xx
