Help Beau Walk Again – Emergency Surgery for IVDD
On Saturday, June 21st, Epiphany’s beloved dog, Beau, suddenly lost the use of his back legs. Beau was rushed to the emergency vet, where he was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) — a serious and painful condition that affects a dog’s spine.
What is IVDD?
IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) is a condition where the discs between a dog’s vertebrae deteriorate, bulge, or rupture, pressing on the spinal cord. This pressure can cause sudden paralysis, severe pain, and loss of mobility. Without surgery, dogs with IVDD often face permanent paralysis or must be euthanized to prevent ongoing suffering.
Beau Needs Surgery to Walk Again
Beau’s only chance to regain the use of his legs is through emergency spinal surgery, which comes at an overwhelming cost of $10,000. This procedure will relieve the pressure on his spinal cord and give him the best shot at living a full, happy life again.
About Beau
Beau is only 4 years old — still full of life, love, and energy. He brings joy and comfort to Epiphany every single day. He loves running around in the backyard, chasing toys, and curling up next to her at the end of a long day. He is not just a pet — he’s family, and Epiphany’s whole world.
❤️ How You Can Help
We are asking our community, friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers to help give Beau a second chance. Every single donation means the world. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach others.
