Beau, my beloved miniature Dachshund, has always been a joyful and energetic companion. This past Saturday, our world was turned upside down when Beau suddenly lost the use of his hind legs. After rushing him to the vet, we learned he had suffered a severe disc herniation in his lower back. The diagnosis was heartbreaking, but I knew I had to do everything possible to help him.

Beau underwent emergency spine surgery to remove the damaged disc and decompress the swelling on his spinal cord. The procedure was critical to give him a chance at recovery, but it’s just the beginning of a long road ahead. Beau now faces months of rehabilitation and specialized care to hopefully regain strength and function in his hind legs. Every day, I see his determination and spirit, and I am committed to giving him the best chance at a full recovery.

The costs of surgery, ongoing rehab, and necessary treatments are overwhelming, but I am reaching out for help so Beau can continue to receive the care he needs.
