Beau is a 4 and a half month old Mastiff mix. He is usually outgoing and very loving. Friday evening Beau was up throughout the night vomiting. We obviously were concerned about him and monitored him closely on Saturday. He declined very quickly and was refusing to eat or drink anything. That night we took him to the urgent care because we had noticed blood in his stool. They did a parvo test (came back negative) and bloodwork. $1000 later they told us that he had a bad case of worms and sent us home with meds. By Monday he still hadnt been acting like himself and honestly seemed worse. We took him to BluePearl Emergency that night where they did Xrays and discovered pockets of air in Beaus abdomen, likely being an obstruction but there was no sign of a foreign object. They told us that we should get an abdominal ultrasound which costs about 700 dollars. If they did find an obstruction, they advised we do an explanatory abdominal surgery, costing upwards of 7500 dollars. We are asking for some help.
