Yesterday, our sweet dog Beau had to be rushed to the emergency vet after developing two severe abscesses, and we learned that some of the surrounding skin has become necrotic. It was incredibly scary, but the team acted quickly to drain the infection and start him on strong antibiotics.

Beau has already spent 12 hours at the animal ER and will need to stay at least another 24 hours for continued monitoring and care. After that, he will require surgery to remove the damaged tissue and help him properly heal.

We’re heartbroken seeing him go through this, but we’re staying hopeful and doing everything we can to get him through it.
