My name is Beau, and I am a quadriplegic living in a wheelchair after breaking my neck in an automobile accident during a rainstorm in December 2022. Since then, my life has changed dramatically. Without a handicap-accessible van, I am unable to leave my home to do basic things like grocery shopping, attending doctor’s appointments, or simply enjoying time outside. Every day, I face the challenge of being isolated from the world, unable to participate in activities that most people take for granted.

Because of my oversized wheelchair and my height, I require a full-size van equipped with a wheelchair lift to fit comfortably and travel safely. Having this van would mean so much more than just transportation—it would give me back my independence. I would be able to attend medical appointments with ease, reducing the stress and complications that come with arranging special transportation. More importantly, it would allow me to experience life again: going to the movies, attending concerts, and spending time with friends and family. This van would help me reclaim joy and happiness, and give me the freedom to overcome the daily obstacles my injury presents.
