Hello family and friends of Beau and Anna!
On Thursday, March 16, 2023, Beau was admitted to The James Cancer Hospital after suffering from a necrotic infection in his neck from a routine outpatient surgery. On Friday, March 17, he was officially diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). T-ALL is a rare and aggressive cancer and will be met with aggressive chemo starting Monday, March 20. Beau will be in the hospital for 4-6 weeks while undergoing this first round of treatment. Beau has a specialized team dedicated to his care, targeting his specific type of cancer, and they will be customizing his treatment each step of his journey.
Though we are optimistic, Beau has a long road ahead of him with a lot of unknowns. There will be a of lot medical costs, loss of wages, and other needs throughout his journey. Beau's wife Anna, cares for their two daughters Ava (2) and Sophia (6 mos.) during the week while working part-time one evening per week and on the weekends. Childcare will be an additional expense in order to allow Anna to be with Beau during his treatments.
Beau is very loved and has impacted lives across the nation in a variety of ways. Beau and Anna are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support they have received so far. In order to allow Beau and Anna to heal while keeping family and friends apprised, updates on Beau's journey will be posted to this page.
If you know Beau and Anna, you know their faith is firmly rooted in Jesus Christ and though they don't understand why this is happening, they are leaning into Him and trusting in His sovereignty to get them through. Please be praying for Beau, Anna, their precious girls, and his medical team.
